This weeks Sketch Challenge at Let's Scrap is full of banners.. i just love banners and decided to make my second layout.
This is the sketch we had to use..
My layout that I created:
I used the Jillibean Soup Monster Stew range of papers for this layout.. just seemed perfect ! (Thickers used for the title)
Journalling reads: This
Monster is one of two, which have been in our family for over 10 years. I first bought them when Klaven was a
small boy. He loved it so much, that
when Brenton was born, I bought him one too. They both had a love for these strange
little fluffy monsters and slept with them every night.
Somewhere
along the way one of the monsters found a new home, however this particular one
managed to hitch a ride in our container and came all the way to Australia with
us. He has been hiding in Brenton’s cupboard
ever since.
This
“Monster” has made a new best friend in Kerr (Care Bear).. When she came to
visit, she immediately saw him and started hugging and kissing him... Must be
something about a huge purple and green monster that brings out the Sweet in
kids..
“Kids these days. They just
don't get scared like they used to. ”Henry J Waternoose – Monsters Inc

Thanks for Looking.. Hugs, Mich
I love popping over from Let's Scrap to see the up-close-and-personal detail in your layouts, Michelle! I also love it when you get a chance to do a "girl" page--a sweet opportunity for you, I am sure! In this case, the papers are perfect, the photos precious, and the theme (definitely) purple!
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable!! Love those little monsters! I'll have to try this sketch!
