LAYOUT SHARE: I'VE REACHED...

I just finished another layout for my friend. Her son done a 26 day Sintiago de Compostela Pilgrimage.. these photos are of the day he arrived.

I used a sketch by Cheri o Neill at Lets Scrap (2-3-11)


This is the certificate that he was awarded for finishing the entire pilgrimage on foot.


The right side of the layout.. I am loving banners at the moment (can you see that? LOL)

These are some closeups of the elements that she gave me to work with: here I used pattern paper through my DYMO machine and sanded the letters out.

I dug out some really old stamps that I had and stamped the title on the banner. Like the end effect. Also stamped a zigzag effect at the top of each banner flag.

The Church is actually a fridge magnet that I stuck onto the layout. Rather bulky, but my friend likes her pages very chunky.

I just created a cluster of the elements. The blue stamp is their daily stamp that they got at each town they passed.
