OARA Scrap day and Layout share: Loving this Life

On Saturday I was lucky enough to attend a 12 hour crop in aid of OARA Charity at the local College.  It was great as we had big tables and the hall was huge. There was lots of nice goodies for cheap and the money all went to a good cause.

Here are my good friends who came with me..

Me with Diane and Yolande.. my scrapping buddies:

Linda and Donna.. they scrapped up a storm and took home about 6 layouts each !  Linda won a ton of goodies on the day too.. lucky fish ! I was lucky to win twice too though.. LOL

Yolande and Dianne.. very busy at work !  LOL.

I had to take a photo of the lady at the table next to us.. I was worried my bag was too big.. but check what these girls roll in.. they are huge !   And they are Creative Memories ladies.. not sure what they need such big bags for..their pages are so basic it is sad..

Anyhow.. I managed to complete 3 double layouts on the day.  2 are for Lets Scrap DT layouts that are coming up soon (sneek peeks below) and the last one was a kit designed by Juliet Corbellari from Durban.  I changed it around to suit my photos though.

Sneek Peeks of upcoming layouts:

I even won 2 prizes with the layouts I submitted too.. how cool is that !  LOL

Here is the Layout that I created with Juliet's kit:  Photos taken on my birthday when I went with the girls to Sassafras for lunch.  (photos in layout all taken by i-phone, so a bit out of focus.. sorry)

  2. Gorgeous layouts Mich... and congrats on your winnings.

I am also always amazed that some ladies bring such big bags with to crops... it's almost like they bring their WHOLE stash just incase they need something... and then never use any of it anyway!
