With the soccer over, I find I have LOTS more time to scrap these days... Hee hee..
I was lucky enough to attend a class on Saturday with Michele at The Village Scrapper.. we created the most gorgeous layout called "Bracketed"...
Sneak Peek:
This class will be on my Schedule next month... watch this space..
Also managed to finish my "TRAVEL" inspired layout this weekend past... it came out really cool. Make lots of little envelopes, tags and a booklet for extra photos.. I even used the airplane boarding passes and some balsa wood on my page !
Close up view of the page... am teaching this on Saturday afternoon.
LETS SCRAP SKETCH CHALLENGE:
I am still on my "scrap the old photos / papers before the new" binge at the moment. I just love the "LETS SCRAP" website as they really challenge you each week with sketches and "challenges". This past weeks sketch by Cheri o' Neill was a fun one:
This is my take on the Sketch.. I only used SCRAPS of paper (not a single sheet of full paper was harmed in the making of this layout ) LOL.... and in line with my "scrap the Old" policy, I dug out these ancient photos of the "Scrapbooking for Hope 2005" function.
We scrapped with Amy Totty and Kelly Collins.. was a stunning day of fun. These were the only photos I had of the event so they actually worked very well with the sketch.
I even managed to incorporate their "Autographs" onto my layout. (check how long my hair was back then.. wow... )
Love your take on the Let's Scrap sketch. Also love your little sneek peeks at your other layouts. Hopefully we will get to see them once your classes are all over.
