I have made a decision to scrap all my "old" photos by means of doing every sketch challenge on the "LETS SCRAP" website. Every week they post a new sketch and they are really nice ones. This way I get to use my old photos, old papers and scraps. And I am getting layouts done in the process. Otherwise I never get my "older" photos scrapped.. I have a big box of them and they are just lying there.
I will keep all my "new" photos for my class layouts that I need to teach.

My layout was done with "OLD" photos from when I used to work at Boehringer Ingelheim. The Social Club had a Beer Festival with a mechanical bull, beer downing competition.. the works !! I just loved the banners on this sketch... They came out super cute.

Up close view of the banner idea.. isn't it sweet ! Need to use this on another layout again. Nice for boy pages I think... or party pages.
Now to find this weeks sketch to get excited about.. LOL

Congratulations on winning last weeks drawing. I love your beer garden layout, you were able to get so many pictures in it and I loved the banners.
ReplyDeleteI had one of those glorious LIGHT BULB moments (altho it truly felt more like a lighting bolt) when I read your statement: I have made a decision to scrap all my "old" photos by means of doing every sketch challenge on the "LETS SCRAP" website. OMG, you have no idea how this spoke to me! I'm a member over at Let's Scrap, just joined Pages In Time and am going to go dig out all my old photos and get them on layouts!!!
