as you might know by now, the past month and a bit has been really hectic for me, we have packed up our entire house in Melbourne and are having it shipped back home to South Africa.. So sorry for the delay in posting any pics on my blog, but with interrupted access to the internet and being chaotically busy with other goodies, unfortunately my blog did take a bit of a back seat..
The following layouts have been created lately using the newest Let's Scrap sketches.
This is the sketch from this week.. you can see the sketch and more layouts HERE at Let's Scrap.
I used paper from Scrap Collections INDIGO collection:

The second is a card I created for a very good friend, who's birthday it was a week before we departed Australia, so it was a birthday / farewell card.. This sketch was posted last week at Let's Scrap
This layout is one of my favorites. I loved the Let's Scrap sketch that we had to work with and the layout just fell into place.
This layout was about a Photo shoot that we went on with FOTR (Friends of the Rail). They invite budding photographers to come and take photos of the old steam trains early in the morning, and dress up in old clothes and blow tons of steam.. so pretty.. Was a cold morning and very full of photographers, but I managed to get a few good shots in.
I researched the history of this train and added that to the layout as well.

Final layout that I have created recently was a Lets Scrap sketch from 3 weeks ago. Using Echo Park Oh Boy papers..
Hope you have enjoyed looking and any comments are as always, most welcome..
Hugs, Mich
Absolutely stunning layouts and I LOVE that card of yours. Good to see that you are settling and those pics on FB of your new house... I am so jealous, I'd love to have a house like that! So warm autum-greetings from Finland !
ReplyDeleteWonderful layouts. Just recently came back to LS and have enjoyed your layouts. BTW-I think your layouts out the best of the DT over at Let's Scrap. I'm tired of all the other sites with only 1 picture on a page. IMHO-Not realistic for a family scrapbook. I like mixed media books but my family wants to see photos, lots of them!
ReplyDeleteYou must be crazy busy what with your HUGE move. I'm sure it was bitter sweet to move. We only went across country and it took me forever to adjust.
Can't wait to see more of your layouts!
Great layouts! Love the colors and all of the texture!
