– Nice for those wedding dress, dress up or formal photos .. Uses one landscape A5 and 3 photos cut to 8x8cm
· Another {Eggscuse} For Chocolate

– Time to take LOTS of Easter photos (or chocolate photos), this layout will be perfect for those fun Easter egg hunt photos, or just fun photos of Family time together !

WHAT A WEEKEND

Had a very fun class on Saturday. Thank you to the ladies who attended, your layouts came out lovely and I hope you enjoyed it too !

On Sunday it was my nephews 8th birthday ... finally managed to get him to sit still long enough to get a photo of him and his sister...

My two boys are getting too big.. GULP !! TIme to put bricks on their heads ! LOL

SCRAPPING UP A STORM

Thank you all for the great feedback for our SCRAPBOOKING 101 PHOTOGRAPHIC COURSE. As you know, we are fully booked but don’t despair, we will run another course later in the year for those who didn’t get a chance this round.

I am starting up a “reservation list” so long… so let me know if you are interested. Dates will be from 19 May to 23 June 2010.

I spent the majority of the weekend Scrapping up a storm.. managed to finish 5 double layouts AND a card.. wow.. that doesn't happen too often.

PHOTOGRAPHY 101 COURSE CONFIRMED !

Following a lot of feedback received, kindly note the following:

SLR cameras are not needed for this course !
The aim of the course not to go out and buy something you don’t need, but rather to help you get the best out of what you already have. So bring your digital cameras (or SLR’s if you have) with and come play

It appears that the most popular date for this course is a Wednesday evening, therefore:

Who: Anyone who wants to learn about their camera and how to take good photos

The details of the outing will be confirmed at a later stage.

On a more personal note, my sons Under 8 Rugby team, played rugby this weekend at the Randfontein Show against all the other local schools.. It was so cute.. here are some action shots of the team.. they done so well and won 3 of their 4 games.. my poor son never got to even touch the ball though.. he is too busy flapping and getting excited to actually play.. luckily they have some real players on the team though.. LOL

The game was held at the Randfontein Show. Brent got to choose a ride to go on afterwards. Neville took him on the Breakdancer.. He was so scared, but went anyhow.. had a ball !

Time is "March"ing on...

Hi there,

March already.. Wow ! where has the year gone? Easter is peeking around the corner and the days are starting already to get a bit colder… winter is not too far off me thinks !

March is a fun month.. we have HOBBY X coming up this weekend at the Dome (5-7 March 2010) and there is a long weekend on the 20-22nd of March. Time to stock up on your scrapping stash and spend some time finishing off those layouts or creating new ones !

A PICTURE PERFECT DAY: Now, I’m sure we all have LOTS of photos of this… create a stacked booklet for extra photos and bring along an A5 landscape photo too… using lots of jumbos extra to finish off a layout to celebrate just about anything…

LOVE BLOOMS: A fun layout using lots of swirls and flowers that you make yourself out of pattern paper. I created my layout using my two sons… showing you that you don’t have to be afraid to use flowers on boys pages ! This layout is suitable for most photos.
